The Goethe-Institut Choir Dublin boasts
a refreshing mix of singers of all ages and many nationalities. Since its foundation
in 1965, the Choir has been a vital and vibrant part of Dublin’s cultural life, enriching many events with its music.
The Goethe-Institut Choir is fortunate to
often collaborate with highly-talented
musicians, orchestras and soloists.
Unfortunately, only a portion of our costs can be met by the choir members’ annual subscriptions. In the absence of state funding for choirs — common in other countries such as Germany— we are faced with a significant financial challenge. Without the loyal support of our sponsors and friends, the Choir would have ceased operations long ago. Contributions from Friends of the Choir help to fund professional fees, music scores, concert venues, advertising and other costs associated with maintaining a top-quality musical ensemble.

and we will send you out
an application form.
